Have an old MF 14 ('71 I think) and I need a cylinder for the mid mount lift. Massey doesn't stock it any more, and my dealer cross referenced it with snapper I believe and no luck there. Anyone have any suggestions? Know of any bone yards that have old massey equip? Thanks

Michael, great points and they make sense. My experience has been that diesels will overheat if left to run too long at a low idle. Probably though it has more to do with the decreased airflow through the radiator and over the block, and the decreased coolant flow. I don;t have the problem when I idle them around 100rpms.

Sounds exactly what I'm looking for but there are 2 things going against me. I haven't sold my 430 yet (see link) and your in Maine!! I would hate to guess what it would cost me to ship this to Chicago area

Thanks Bird. I figured it out and it was fuse related. I had previously checked the fuses and they looked fine. When I went back out to tackle this I looked at the fuses again, you know just incase one blew while it was sitting on the driveway. Well pulling the fuse out and putting it in again must of worked off some of the corrosion that must have been present because now it would start but the fuse was positional so I cleaned it all up and it works fine.
Funny how most of your biggest challanges a solved so simply.

Tom, You were correct in your first post in this thread, and there is not as strong of a standard with Cat 0 hitches. Where most if not all of the deviations are seen are in the PTO speed and rotation. There are a number of propriatary cat 0 setups out there, and if I remember right, deere was one of them. I think you are going to see a move towards more cat 1 hitches on L&G tractors because of the standard that exists. I good example of this I think is the new Kubota BX series, although I would offend Kubota loyalists by calling it a L&G tractor, but it is ushering in a new category of sub-compact machines.

Whew Ken..Thanks for all of the thought that went into your mini series. You brought up some great points. Now if I can only find a BX model to look at!! 3 semi local dealers have none in stock and no time frame for delivery.

Thank for the posts. It seems that the 50 and 55 series were the most popular. I haven't found much information at all on the 70 series and then theres the 790 which is still available today. Was this the only 90 series available?

Looking at an older B7300 with mower deck and loader. Having no experiance with Kubota, I was wondering if anyone here could point out some particular things I should look at in evaluating this unit.
